Progress Update 03/06/07

Apologies to those of you who've been waiting for a progress update but there really hasn't been much to update you on! Our builder has failed to meet 3 deadlines for completing the work now and is well on target for failing to meet his next promised completion date at the end of June! They have finally screeded the floors and all our floor and wall tiles arrived on site last week so maybe things will begin to move forward. We also have a gas tank & septic tank onsite but they have yet to be buried in the garden! The latest scheduled date for the installation of doors and windows is the end of June so we have our fingers crossed as that is what is really holding up progress. Once the house is water tight we can get the plumbing and electrics finished and hopefully move into the house.
